Under the supervision and direction of the Health and Wellness Director and in accordance with the Christian mission, character development and values of the YMCA, the Youth Exercise Instructor is responsible and accountable for planning, conducting, and evaluating high quality classes. The Youth Exercise Instructor must emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and work with membership retention and promotion.
Under the supervision of the director and in accordance with the mission, character development and values of the YMCA, the Personal Trainer trains YMCA members and community participants on strength training equipment, free weights and cardiovascular equipment on a one to one basis or small group training. The Personal Trainer is also responsible for informing and serving YMCA members and volunteers in a premier fashion. He or she is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.
Hiring Bonus: $150
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Healthy Living Coach is responsible for conducting coaching sessions and setting goals with members seeking a healthy lifestyle. Through individual empathetic listening, on-going communication and support and person-centered guidance and accountability, the Healthy Living Coach will help lead members toward a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, the Program Coordinator II position is responsible and accountable for assisting in all aspects of the aquatics department activities and events. The Program Coordinator II is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement, and to work with membership retention and promotion.

This is a seasonal summer position that will work between Memorial Day (May 30th, 2022) to Labor Day (September 5th, 2022).

This position is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion. Hiring Bonus: $150

The Instructor is also responsible for informing and serving Y members and volunteers in a premier fashion. He or she is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.

Lifeguard Certification
To apply for a lifeguard position, applicants should hold a current lifeguard certification from an accredited organization (ASHI, Red Cross, Ellis, etc.).
