POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The role of the Associate Executive Director (AED) will provide additional center support to the Executive Director and/or Senior Vice President of Operations by assuming responsibility not only for assigned program area (Member Engagement) but also for overall center supervisor and leadership for assigned areas and in the absence of the Executive Director and/or Senior Vice President of Operations.  The role of the AED may provide association wide support in an assigned area.   OUR CULTURE:  The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s mission and core values are brought to life by our culture. Provides the public’s initial contact with the Y and is expected to communicate to members, participants and general public services, programs and events in a friendly, knowledgeable and courteous manner.
