The Personal Trainer trains Y members and community participants on strength training equipment, free weights and cardiovascular equipment on a one to one basis or small group training. The Personal Trainer is also responsible for informing and serving YMCA members and volunteers in a premier fashion. They are expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.
Hiring Bonus: $150
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director and in accordance with the mission, character development and values of the YMCA, the Swim Instructor will teach quality lessons to participants concentrating on the YMCA’s five areas of growth; personal safety, stroke development, water safety and rescue, personal growth, and water sports and games. Swim Instructor is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement, and to work with membership retention and promotion.
Free training and certification through the Y is available.

Under the supervision and direction of the director and in accordance with the mission, character development and values of the YMCA, the Fitness Group Exercise Instructor conducts group exercise classes in the area of cardiovascular wellness, flexibility, and muscular endurance with warm up and cool-down for each class. The Instructor is also responsible for informing and serving Y members and volunteers in a premier fashion. He or she is expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.
The Lifeguard is to oversee the safety of members and program participants of the pool areas. The Lifeguard is also responsible for informing and serving YMCA members and volunteers in a premier fashion. They are expected to emphasize member service, character development, the mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion. Hiring Bonus: $150
Starting Pay $11:50 per hour

Our facility is located:
- Between 71 Hwy/ 49 Hwy, I-70, and 435 Hwy.
- Just a 15 to 20 minute drive from: Raytown, Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, and Grandview areas.
- East of the KC Plaza
Youth Development Leaders assist in providing a safe, caring and enriching environment for school age children. Provide supervision to a group of children, lead activities, and deliver the Y’s holistic youth development curriculum.
Schedules are flexible and include weekday morning 6:30 am - 7:15 am and/or afternoons after school 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
$250 Hiring Bonus
$14.00/hour
*increases to rates are case-by-case based on experience and education relevant to to the field of youth development

The Child Watch Attendant provides quality care to children 12 weeks to 8 years of age who participate in the child-watch while their family is using the facility. The Child Watch Attendant is expected to emphasize member service, character development, mission statement, and to work with membership retention and promotion.
