This position is an important member of the center leadership team making a difference in the local community. Drive program and membership growth by developing, implementing, and managing strategic operating plans aligned with YMCA goals; monitor progress and ensure continuous improvement.
Support overall center operations and partner with the Executive Director on community engagement initiatives to strengthen the YMCA’s visibility and impact.
Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and YMCA standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and high-quality experience for all participants.
Manage department budgets strategically, aligning financial resources with key priorities and long-term objectives.
Use data-driven decision-making to analyze trends, monitor performance, and forecast future financial and programmatic growth.
Lead and develop staff and volunteers, fostering a positive team culture focused on service, inclusion and accountability.
Design and deliver high-quality, member-focused programs by embracing creativity, calculated risk-taking, and responsiveness to societal, economic, and community needs.
Encourage innovation and recognize bold ideas, supporting a learning culture where new approaches are valued—even when outcomes are uncertain.
